‘Halloween’ to be added to syllabus for ‘The Simpsons’ series

FOX NEWS — A Halloween theme for the first season of The Simpsons has been added to the syllabus of a class for linguistics, a Fox News video shows.

The syllabus will be added in the fall, Fox News reported.

It comes as the U.S. Department of Education is seeking to revise the content of a recent science textbook to make it more inclusive to students of color, including students who have disabilities.

The American Educational Research Association (EARA) has a goal of providing “equal access to learning for all students.”

The syllabi of the course, titled “Reading from the Inside Out: Reading from the Front and Center of a Computer,” were originally published in the summer.

The new version will be made available in spring 2018.

The program is being offered in the course at the University of Pennsylvania.
