Harvard: No American is free from the burden of foreign education

HARVARD, Mass.

— The U.S. Department of Education’s syllabus is out, and it’s pretty depressing.

The Department of State has published a set of “Principles of U. S. Educational Leadership,” a set which includes the “Princess Diaries,” a “Princes’ Guide to Teaching American Foreign Language and Literature,” and a “State of the American Education.”

The new document is part of a push by the Obama administration to boost American education by making sure students are taught in “the best of all possible worlds,” as Obama put it.

In his final year in office, Obama ordered the Education Department to create the “Principle of Excellence,” a document that lays out how the U.
