Students at a California high school in the wake of the #meToo movement are being offered a course that is designed to help them better understand the complexities of female sexuality.
The school’s Gender Studies department is offering an advanced course called The Sexuality of Women, which explores issues around sexual identity and expression.
The course is being offered at a high school that was once the home of a notorious rape victim, and its goal is to help students better understand women’s sexuality.
The course is called The Kinsey Report: The Scientific Study of Sex, Gender, and the Human Female, and it focuses on the work of the late sociologist Kinsey, whose seminal work on female sexuality is still one of the most controversial texts of its kind.
He found that women have an internal sexual self that they choose to express, and that it is not necessarily binary.
In fact, he found that people with female genitalia were more open to the possibility of intimacy, and to the desire for a sexual relationship with another woman.
“That is really what the course is trying to say,” said Emily Glynn, the school’s director of instruction.
“It’s about understanding women’s bodies and what they are like, and how they come to have desires for other women, as opposed to being just women.
It’s about how that manifests itself in relationships and sexual acts.”
Glynn said the Kinsey report, which is also being taught in California, is part of a broader program designed to support students who want to pursue a career in academia.
Students who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree can take the Kinsellys course online, or they can take a written exam.
“We are really focusing on a lot of the same areas that you would want to have a graduate education,” she said.
“We are going to talk about the scientific study of sexual behavior, the biological bases of human sexuality, and we are also going to explore the sexual identity, the gender identity, and all of the different ways that gender expression intersects with sexual behavior.”
Glynne said that while many students have already taken the course, it’s a one-time opportunity for the school.
There are no scholarships available to help offset the costs of the course.
Glynn hopes that the course will be a useful resource for students who are exploring gender issues and sexuality, but also for students looking to learn more about what it means to be a woman in the United States.
